This project came about after choosing a topic of interest for the Child Development course. I chose the topic of developmental disabilities since it is one I am quite interested in and wanted to learn more about. My group and I narrowed down this topic to create a question parents might have about how to give their child with Down syndrome more independence. We did a great deal of research to come up with helpful advice for parents to listen to. I think it is a finished work, but there’s always more to add to the conversation about this topic. If I could do it over again I think I would do most things the same however I would probably have tried to work more with the computer program we used, maybe adding in background music or something else to make it a little more interesting to listen to.
This projected is associated with the course: PSYC-295
