Maxwell Norteman – Class of 2023
I am an intern with the United States State Department focussing on public affairs diplomacy at the US Consulate in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have helped development of a podcast centered around labor rights in Botswana, Lesotho, Zambia, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Malawi, Angola, and Eswatini. Our department is dedicated to strengthening collaborations with labor unions and the advancement of labor and human rights, while prioritizing the protection of marginalized groups.
