Caroline Munn (Class of 2021)
My name is Caroline Munn and I am a member of the Class of 2021 at Trinity College in Hartford, CT. As an Urban and American Studies double major, I created a digital archive for my Fall 2019 American Studies 306 class, Imagining Digital Humanities. I researched the Evolution of the Female Field Hockey Bantam to understand the history of this sport at Trinity as I am a field hockey player as well. My project was created on Adobe Spark where I also used many different types of media including Hindenburg, audio, video, pictures, Juxtapose, and others to display this project. In this digital archive, I begin with the history of Trinity College in 1823 and transition to Coeducation in 1969 sharing quotes from professors and current students about their opinions of coeducation. After I transition to the athletic and physical progress that women’s sports and specifically field hockey has had in the last 50 + years at the institution.
